bizkovaRut Bízková, Chair of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic. After graduating from the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague, Rut Bízková worked at the Nuclear Research Institute in Řež. In the years 1986 – 1988 she obtained post-graduate degree in mathematics. In 1993 she underwent a three-month internship at the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna. Since 1993, Rut Bízková has focused on the environmental issues and in particular on the impact of power engineering on the environment. Between 1994 and 2003 she worked for the ČEZ energy company (as a spokesperson) and for the Ministry of Industry and Trade (as a head of the International aspects of industrial policy Unit at and as an advisor to the Deputy Minister). Since 2004, she worked in CENIA, Czech Environmental Information Agency. In September 2006 she became the Deputy Minister of the Environment responsible for Economics and environmental policy Section. In 2010, she was appointed Minister of the Environment. On March 21, 2012, Rut Bízková became a member of the board and Chair of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic.
